Darren joined in July 2021 as the new Head of Service. Darren is a professionally qualified Youth Worker and spent many years working directly with individuals and leading teams in Employability based work, with a focus on those who faced barriers into gaining employment or training. He has a wealth of experience of developing new business opportunities and working closely in partnership with others.

Alina joined Employ-ability in May 2023 as the IPS Team Lead for West Essex. Alina has an extensive background in working with people, having joined us from a similar programme where she delivered and led a team of 9 staff. Prior to the employment sector, Alina managed a flagship store for Boots Opticians.

Sue has been in post since 2008. Sue’s background is predominantly in Recruitment, Sales and Retail. Sue began her career in London working in; retail, high street recruitment agencies and recruitment advertising. Sue leads her West and South teams, and is responsible for managing demand and their caseloads, practice and professional development and developing relationships with employers and partners.

Patrick helps users in Epping. He provides 1-1 support to users, helping them with their confidence in order for them to reach their employment goals. He also facilitates support with employers who have employees with mental ill health. Patrick likes classic cars, snorkelling and vegetable growing!

Angelo specialised as a graduate for schools focusing on special educational needs support provision and he is now excited to use the recruitment expertise he has to support those with mental ill health in finding and retaining work. Angelo enjoys building relationships and helping people to find success and thrive, when he’s not doing that, you might find him poring through a good book or spending time with his family.

Lucy joined Employ-Ability in August 2022 as an Employment Specialist within the Secondary services and has since taken on the position as IPS Team Lead for the Primary Care Service in South Essex February 2024. She has come from an background Working within the Probation service as a Tutor and has a passion for supporting others and a particular interest in the development and wellbeing of individuals. Since working for Employ-Ability Lucy has dedicated her work towards supporting Clients into work and making excellent connections with local Employers and brings this wealth of experience to successfully lead her team of Employment Specialists to make positive changes to create fulfilled futures for their Clients; working individually to ensure they a carefully placed in sustainable employment

Danika joined Employ-Ability in October 2023 as the IPS Primary Care Team Lead for West Essex. She has 3+ years of experience across various welfare-to-work programmes and has had the privilege of guiding many individuals towards fulfilling employment opportunities. Prior to working in the employment sector, Danika worked as a Business Manager in the cosmetics industry. Danika is passionate about driving positive change and making a tangible difference in people’s lives through her work.
