Darren joined in July 2021 as the new Head of Service. Darren is a professionally qualified Youth Worker and spent many years working directly with individuals and leading teams in Employability based work, with a focus on those who faced barriers into gaining employment or training. He has a wealth of experience of developing new business opportunities and working closely in partnership with others.

Lucy joined Employ-Ability in August 2022 as an Employment Specialist within the Secondary services and has since taken on the position as IPS Team Lead for the Primary Care Service in South Essex February 2024. She has come from an background Working within the Probation service as a Tutor and has a passion for supporting others and a particular interest in the development and wellbeing of individuals. Since working for Employ-Ability Lucy has dedicated her work towards supporting Clients into work and making excellent connections with local Employers and brings this wealth of experience to successfully lead her team of Employment Specialists to make positive changes to create fulfilled futures for their Clients; working individually to ensure they a carefully placed in sustainable employment

Angelo specialised as a graduate for schools focusing on special educational needs support provision and he is now excited to use the recruitment expertise he has to support those with mental ill health in finding and retaining work. Angelo enjoys building relationships and helping people to find success and thrive, when he’s not doing that, you might find him poring through a good book or spending time with his family.

David joined Employ-Ability in 2016 as an Employment Specialist and, after holding senior roles in the IPS and Retention services, is now currently Team Lead for the Primary Care contract in the South East. Prior to this David gained vast experience in customer service roles and welfare-to-work programmes.

Liam joined Employ-Ability in April 2024 as an Employment Specialist within the Primary Services team and has since progressed to the role of IPS Team Lead for the Primary Care Service in West Essex. He is deeply passionate about supporting individuals with mental health conditions, helping them overcome barriers and achieve their personal and professional goals.

Before joining Employ-Ability, Liam earned a degree in Biochemistry and began his career as a biochemist at Cancer Research UK in Cambridge. He later transitioned into the tech recruitment sector in London, where he managed a team of 15. Liam loves all things health and fitness – if he is not at work he is either at football, boxing, or the gym.
